Detroit’s Mother Cyborg lands punk footwork single ‘3souled Women’ – in advance of full début

Today we are beyond excited to announce the opening of our 2017 release schedule with Mother Cyborg‘s ‘3souled Women.’

Straight from the source: “the name 3souled Women comes from this idea that each portion of a hybrid carries its own spirit/soul. 1 as a cyborg, 1 as a human, and 1 as the hybrid. A 3 souled women is a sort of a deity that walks many realms. It also alludes to the many things women have to be to navigate the world.”

Born in Detroit in 2011, Mother Cyborg cares about the future of technology and all the ways in which it can shape relationships. The dance floor is where she heals and summons community – you can catch her every 1st Saturday at the Temple Bar in Detroit, with special guests such as Stacey Hotwaxx Hale, Ladymonix and DJ Ripley.

‘3souled Women’ was mixed by Marta Salogni (The xx, Frank Ocean) and mastered by Heba Kadry (The Mars Volta, Beach House). It’s the first single from Mother Cyborg’s début album Pressure Systems.
