PLM Soundtracks today releases Tris Taylor‘s City Of Promise – an expansive, contemporary narrative of urban growth and confidence which has already featured on productions filmed in Tunisia and the UAE.
It draws heavily on music from Middle Eastern and European cultures. Global influences have been a feature of Taylor’s work since award-winning director Nour Wazzi commissioned him and A.K. Benedict to score the film ‘Habibti.’
Jessie Deeter‘s acclaimed documentary A Revolution In Four Seasons, which features two compositions from City Of Promise, screens at Curzon Bloomsbury this Monday as part of Bertha Dochouse’s ‘The Lives Of Others’ season.
