Tris Taylor
Tris Taylor owns Pink Lizard Music.
An artist, songwriter, composer, producer and remixer, he has done deals with indies and majors, collaborated with artists on five continents, and scored award-winning films, broadcast TV and commercials in the UK, the Gulf and China.
Festival awards for films on which he has worked include the Golden Palm (Mexico), Royal Reel (Canada), Best Sci-Fi Feature (Philadelphia Independent) and Best Feature (Rhode Island International Horror), as well as nominations and mentions in Cyprus, Montreal, Swaziland and elsewhere.
He has created original music and audio branding for Rolex, Virgin Atlantic, Tesco and QTel, and soundtracked entire TV formats for Channel 4 in the UK and Galleon Entertainment in South East Asia.
His scores for broadcast and cinema commercials include a brace of promos featuring the four best table tennis players in the world for transmission in China during the World Table Tennis Championships.
As a songwriter, producer and artist, his works have been played on BBC1, ITV1, BT Sport, HBO, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 6Music, BBC 1Xtra, XFM, Capital XTRA, Kiss Fresh and more.
Independent labels that have released his recordings and remixes include 2TUF 4U, BBE, Black Vinyl UK, Chocolate Fireguard, Conya Records/Clubstar, Filthy Little Angels, and PinPrick Records.
Those writing interests which are not administered by Pink Lizard Music rest instead with Cooking Vinyl, EMI and Westbury Music.
Pink Lizard Music represents Tris for commissions, publishes the majority of his works, and is working on a programme of releases of his scores, solo and collaborative recordings.
