Tide Mark

Tide Mark a.k.a. Mark French is a filmmaker and musician best known for his series of biographical films on Hastings art and music legends.

His subjects have included Trevor Watts, Roland Jarvis, and Laetitia Yhap.

A founder of British new wave bands The Art Squad (Dartford) and Sherry Flips (Camden), Mark also plays guitar on the Fritz Catlin (23 Skidoo) soundtrack for Richard Heslop’s recent Derek Jarman tribute Shooting the Hunter.

Mark owns Broadley Studios in London and is a member of the Hastings Bonfire Society.

In 2013 he released ‘Voices (In My House)’ (iTunes/Amazon) with Benbo on Conya Records/Black Vinyl Publishing.  Pink Lizard Music can clear both sides.
